2-metre Faulkes Telescopes down-time in the next few weeks

FT users will not have access to the 2-metre Faulkes Telescopes for a few days in the next few weeks.

FT South in Australia is having its mirrors recoated so will be unavailable from 15th February for approximately one week. This means that no real-time sessions or queue-scheduled observations will take place during this time. However, the 1-metre and 0.4 metre telescopes’ operations will be unaffected.

FT North in Hawai’i will then be unavailable from 28th February until around 8th March. This is to allow the telescope to be fitted with a new camera for one its filters. Other telescopes within the network should remain available during these dates.
