Calling Schools for International Collaboration | Faulkes Telescope Project

Calling Schools for International Collaboration

Global Hands-On Universe (GHOU) are inviting teachers and pupils to take part in an important global campaign.

Having been awarded telescope time with Las Cumbres Observatory, they would like people to acquire and create an image of the heavens that represents or was significant to their nation before uploading and sharing it with the world in their “Global Festival of Cosmos”.

The project is supported by students in the astronomy club of a high school near Berkeley in Vallejo, California. They can help to guide you to use the telescopes effectively and are creating a composite image of the California Nebula as their contribution. If you have any suggestions or have time to participate in this 50 Nation Project please let us know!

If you want to know more about the project, please have a look at these links or e-mail fraser.lewis (at) faulkes-telescope.com
