Opening of FT south west regional centre, Camborne Learning Space

The Camborne Learning Space was designed and built through the Classroom of the Future initiative and provides the local community with a fantastic and imaginative resource for teaching. It was opened on 18th November 2004 by the Schools Minister David Miliband and is based at Camborne School and Community College.

Faulkes Project Director, Paul Roche attended the opening as the Learning Space will also be the Faulkes Telescope South West Regional Centre. Sue Sayer is the Learning and Teaching Team Leader at the new centre and will be in involved in co-ordinating the use of the telescopes within the local community.
