Faulkes Telescope North demonstrated at the Galway Science Festival
The Galway Science Festival is in its seventh year and this year we are pleased to announce that is was attended by the Faulkes Telescope Project. A fantastic programme of events was organised including a live observing session with FT North. The observing was carried out by Robert Hill from Armagh Planetarium and Prof. Mike Redfern from the National University of Ireland in Galway.

In attendance were students and teachers from 6 schools from across Eire. During a 2 hour observing session they were asked to request objects they would like to see. They chose to make observations of the Crab Nebula, spiral galaxies, galaxies seen edge on, and the planet Saturn.
