The colourful cosmos at the Seagate Real World Science Conference!

On Friday November 21st, Sarah Roberts went over to Derry to run a workshop at the inspiring hands-on Seagate Re AshleighMcGowan.jpgal World Science conference. Organised annually by Seagate, the aim of this conference is to encourage pupils in subject areas such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, and help them think outside the box when considering careers in these areas. 

 

The event, held at Lumen Christi College, consisted of over 20 workshops which over 300 Year 10 students from schoE.jpgols in Buncrana, Claudy, Strabane, Dungiven and Limavady and the wider NorthWest catchment area were invited to attend. Sarah held a 'Colourful Cosmos' workshop where students produced colour images of images at different stages of their lives using free software.
