FTS in Australia Links up With the Observatorio Astronómico de Mallorca

Students on the Open University astronomical residential school in
Majorca were recently treated to a live observing session using the FTS
in Australia.
The students have been learning and practicing techniques associated with spectroscopy, photometry and planetary science.
One of the additional activities was a live observing session using
FTS, where they were able to see images downloaded of NGC253 and
NGC1365.
After the observing session finished, they then went off to do their own observing with the observatory´s seven 12" telescopes.
